Missing Downtime Events

Symptoms

• The Downtime graph and the event records do not match.

  • Graph shows below target rate
  • Graph show off

Diagnosis

• Note the start time and end time on the graph

• Note the timestamp of the last event record

• Note the licence status of the site

Solution

• Check that the Event service is running

  • If the Event service isn't running, check the logs for any exceptions before attempting to start the service.
  • If it fails, check one of the following:
    • Licence is valid
    • Database connection string is correct
    • Check the logs for any exceptions
