How do I Confirm or Unconfirm a Downtime Event?

How to Confirm or Un-confirm a Downtime Event

Process

When an event has been classified, it will appear highlighted in blue within the data grid.
This indicates that the classification still needs to be confirmed.

Step-by-Step Guide to Confirming an Event

There are three ways to confirm a classification:

  1. Double-click the event to open the Edit window.
If the classification is correct, click Save and Confirm.

  2. Right-click the event in the data grid and select Confirm.

  3. Highlight the event and tick the check box to Confirm in grid under the column heading Confirmed.

Once confirmed, the event will change from blue to white in the data grid and the Check Box under the column heading Confirmed will have a tick in it.

How to Un-confirm an Event

To un-confirm an event, use any of the same three methods listed above.
After un-confirming, the event will revert back to Blue and require confirmation again.
