Quick Pivot
The Quick Pivot feature offers a tabular view of data, allowing users to dynamically organize and structure information based on their requirements. It functions similarly to a pivot table.
Please follow the steps below to create a Quick Pivot.
- Navigate to the Analytics Module in Optimum, and from the left-hand navigation menu, click on Quick Pivot.

- Once you click on Quick Pivot, you can select the desired Data Source from the Data Selection section and configure the Period Filters to define the required date and time range. After setting your preferences, click Save All Changes to get the data based on your selected criteria.

For the sample Quick Pivot shown above, the Metrics data source has been selected, with Shift as Data Period and “SAG Mill 1[Grinding]” chosen as the Unit. Under the Period Filter, a Dynamic filter type is applied, with Month set as the period type. The configuration includes the Show Current , which will retrieve data for the current month.
Please note that multiple Data Sources are available and can be selected based on your requirements. You can also configure the Period Filter as either Dynamic or a Fixed range, where a specific start date and end date can be defined for the data you wish to analyze. -
-
Once the data has been retrieved for the selected Data Source and Period, you can drag the required columns from the Column List (highlighted in red) into the designated drop sections (shown in grey). These sections include:
- Drop Data Items Here – to add your data fields
- Drop Row Fields Here – to define row groupings
- Drop Column Fields Here – to define column groupings
This allows you to structure the data according to your analysis requirements.

-
- Once you have dragged the required columns into your desired sections, click Save All Changes to save the Quick Pivot configuration.

- If required, you can save this view to your Favourites by clicking the Copy to Favourites button located at the bottom within View Settings.
